Fairground Attraction (Harlem's Deck 1) by GladeFaun is a great opening chapter, filled with a good balance of character development and exciting action. The author's knack for integrating description into the action points of the plot is something to take note of. Be sure to follow the link in the artist comment to continue the story!

Literature Text

This content is unavailable.

A teenage outing to the funfair in a world where demons can still be called across the divide to 'terrorise the neighbourhood'. What could possibly go wrong...?

Good clean paranormal fun for fans of Bayonetta, Kim Harrison or Supernatural.

Smashwords edition here www.smashwords.com/books/view/… for any who like their literature on an e-reader.

**Updated**

So I've finally finished Harlem's Deck. It feels like an absolute age since I wrote the first chapter (above) whilst on the train down to see my friend James last summer. Got to say I'm really pleased with the overall result, it was one of those stories that was just a joy to write (most of the time), kinda flowed onto the page.

The full novel is available on Smashwords for anyone whose interested here... www.smashwords.com/books/view/…

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed!

**Further Update**

So stoked to have received a Daily Deviation for this piece! Need to say a huge thank you to those who have championed my work here, feel truly honored Heart

"A sea of dead cats"  What a delightfully disturbing image!
